About Us

Our mission is to marshall the support of extreme innovators, entrepreneurs and athletes to support environmental causes related to the ocean and related ecosystems.

About Us

MaiTai Global is a group of extraordinary entrepreneurs, innovators and athletes. Participants combine their energy, network and resources to help each other achieve professional success, pushing the limits of work and play while also fueling philanthropic activities around the world. The MaiTai Global community has an incredibly accomplished professional network whose collective passion brings together an extreme environment.

Non-profit Support

As a community of passionate water men and women, we experience first hand that our world’s oceans are under attack from pollution, overfishing, global warming and habitat destruction. MaiTai seeks to support pro-active organizations who produce meaningful results protecting the world’s oceans. While there are many admirable efforts around the world, we particularly appreciate and support the following:

OceanElders

An independent group of global leaders who have joined together to serve as a catalyst in the conservation and protection of the ocean and its wildlife. These individuals use their collective influence, supported by science and data, to promote ocean conservation, pursue the protection of the ocean’s habitat and wildlife and preserve its ecosystems and species biodiversity.

Mission Blue

Mission Blue is an initiative of the Sylvia Earle Alliance to ignite public support for the protection of Hope Spots – special places that are vital to the health of the ocean – through the creation of a global network of marine protected areas to safeguard 20% of the ocean by 2020.

Unite

Unite BVI is a non-profit organization founded by Sir Richard Branson and supported by Virgin Limited Edition and Virgin Unite. We are firmly rooted in the belief that by uniting with others, together we can ‘be the solution’ to challenge facing our community and the environment. Our primary aim is to be the catalyst and vehicle for great, sustainable positive impact.
